A short seated pause lets you decide whether to explore another side street or move on toward dinner, without making the entire park another destination to complete.

This is a linear space within a working neighbourhood, with crossings and other pedestrians to consider. Installations and event arrangements change, so photographs are historical illustrations. The route covers public paths near Zhongshan; in heavy rain, shorten the outdoor portion and follow local signs for underground connections.

Ningxia Night Market

Treat this compact market as a food corridor: look at the stalls and seating before choosing a few dishes. Signs, cooking steam and closely spaced counters create a vivid streetscape, but they are also workplaces. Step out of the flow when you stop to look and avoid blocking customers or vendors.

Both Shuanglian and Zhongshan provide walking access; this route uses Shuanglian for the market end. Individual stalls set their own hours, with evening the intended visit period. If browsing Chifeng Street takes longer, choose fewer dishes rather than eliminating the time needed to sit and return to the station.
